Want to buy a new hard drive with keeping my save data.

So I'm about to buy a new hard drive for my ps3 but i don't want to lose my saved data especially in gta 5 and 2k. is it possible to keep the date and still change hard drive?

ps+ backs your saves to the cloud

get a usb thumb drive or external drive and back up your saves. the drive has to be formatted to fat32 first. a handful of games do not allow you to back up your save data this way. or buy a month of ps+ and upload your saves to the cloud. ps+ will let you back up ALL of your game saves.
if your talking about the actual game installs there is no way to save them. you will have to redownload everything again. -
i have ps+ so just save my games to the cloud. then install my new hard drive and ill be fine with my saves. i understand game installs i have to reinstall tho

yes. you'll just have to redownload them again after you upgrade your drive.
