BioShock Infinite and Plants vs. Zombies 2 also bag multiple gongs.

The Last of Us managed to win a stonking 10 awards at last night's annual DICE Awards in Las Vegas.

Naughty Dog's apocalyptic epic was always tipped to do well with 13 nominations, but the fact it managed to convert so many of these into wins in categories voted for by both fans and developers shows what an achievement the game really is.

This year marked the 17th DICE Awards. Other titles that won multiple awards in the 24 categories include BioShock Infinite and Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time, both of which bagged two gongs each.

Rockstar founders Dan and Sam Houser were also inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame, alongside president Leslie Benzies.

The Academy consists of publishers, developers and members of the Independent Game Developers Association, many of whom will be voting on the respective categories.
