Evil Bible.com is a well known website started in 2003 by atheist Chris Thiefe that highlights various hypocrisies, contradictions, and most notably various nasty passages in the Bible (hence the site's moniker). Although it hasn't been updated since 2010, it still remains as one of the most comprehensive sites on all things messed up in the Bible. The site catches a lot of heat from conservatives who like to pretend these passages never existed, and due to the site's fiery presentation of atheism (which is so intense one would think Richard Dawkins wrote it).

There are also several essays written by a "Charlotte" from the now-defunct site "Theists Suck" that cover End Times, the relevancy of the Old Testament, various Christian talking points, and much, much more.

For obvious reasons, it's been constantly referenced by atheists when arguing with fundies, Young Earth Creationists, Bible literalists, or anyone who just wants to troll creationist boards.
? People Who Don't Listen to Priests
Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your ? must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

? Homosexuals
"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

Death for Hitting Dad
Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

Death for Adultery
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)

Death for Fornication
A priest's daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father also, shall be burned to death. (Leviticus 21:9 NAB)

Death to Followers of Other Religions
Whoever sacrifices to any ? , except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

? Nonbelievers
They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the ? of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the ? of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune ? .

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how ? /Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-? who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of ? .

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of ? and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)

"Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the word of ? . It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel." -- Age of Reason (18th century), by Thomas Paine. Funny that he spoke of it being the words of a demon, when it really is!

You misunderstand. The foundation of christianity is the saving of mankind from real death not physical death all the examples you gave about killings only refer to the physical death that in the larger view of things means NOTHING.

Ok. So nobody REALLY dies and physical death means NOTHING. That means that things like "eternal life" and "salvation" are moot points which only boil down to if, in the short time you're given on Earth, you do enough to deserve being tortured or subjugated forever.

it's not that your life and death here are unimportant to ? , they are just not as important as we make them out to seem. because life is short what we do here is important so i don't get why you would say eternal life and salvation are moot if anything they would be more important.

No, it's a means to an end which, given that in theory ? is omnipotent, doesn't make any sense. An omnipotent ? would never need such means to reach any end.

the process was important. ? snapping his fingers and accomplishing his goals would be easier for him. but that would not really teach us anything. remember ? wants man to willingly obey. and so he does not use the full measure of his power.

Would not the power of ? be inexaustible? You saying that ? , by simply snapping his fingers, uses up all of his energy implies that ? has a limit. You are contradicting the orthodox view that ? is limitless.

An omnipotent ? would not have to snap his fingers to do anything either. That is still a means to an end.

Saying that it is not possible for ? to have taught us anything without following a process denotes that ? is limited in such a way that he would not be able to accomplish one thing without doing another first.

Also, everything would be equally easy for an omnipotent ? . There would be no thing that is more or less difficult than another so the bolded does not make sense.

All these laws were conducive to and exclusively for the nation of ancient Israel...
Why do people act as if the laws and statutes that were given to govern Israel were also given for all others who were not of Israel? It's rules on how they govern "in their land" only... not outside of their land.

Yahawashi (Yah Ha Wa Shy) provided the spiritual law for Israelites who were governed by others (Non Israelites) or living scattered among others beyond the borders of Israel.

If nobody gives a ? about Israel (Yahsharahla) then why is this important being that it is only exclusively for Israelites only.

White people really pulled a number on folks by stealing what was supposed to had been a legacy exclusive to just the people of Israel and subjecting the whole world to it.

That's like a parent making rules in their home and a burgular comes in, steal the rules and subject himself and others to it just to reap the benefits that weren't even willed over to them.

For those that claim that Christians need not adhere to the Old Testament:
    1) “For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished.  Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”  (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV)  Clearly the Old Testament is to be abided by until the end of human existence itself.  None other then Jesus said so.

    2) All of the vicious Old Testament laws will be binding forever.  "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid."  (Luke 16:17 NAB)

    3) Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets.  He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament.  "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.  I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.  Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place."  (Matthew 5:17 NAB)

3b) "All scripture is inspired by ? and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness..."  (2 Timothy 3:16 NAB)

3c) "Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of ? ." (2 Peter 20-21 NAB)

    4) Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law.  Mark.7:9-13  "Whoever curses father or mother shall die"  (Mark 7:10 NAB)

    5) Jesus is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating.  He defends himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment: “He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.”  (Matthew 15:4-7)

    6) Jesus has a punishment even worse than his father concerning adultery: ? said the act of adultery was punishable by death. Jesus says looking with ? is the same thing and you should gouge your eye out, better a part, than the whole.  The punishment under Jesus is an eternity in Hell.  (Matthew 5:27)

    7) Peter says that all slaves should “be subject to [their] masters with all fear,” to the bad and cruel as well as the “good and gentle.”  This is merely an echo of the same slavery commands in the Old Testament. 1 Peter 2:18

    8) “Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law" (John7:19) and “For the law was given by Moses,..." (John 1:17).

    9) “...the scripture cannot be broken.” --Jesus Christ, John 10:35

What do y'all think about the Ethiopian Bible ? Do y'all view Ethiopians Christians the same way as the rest of the christians.

I just find it strange that Ethiopian Christians aren't bashed the same way people who follow the King James Bible.

People are quick to say that christians in America are brainwashed by a white jesus and whatever but rarely do you see people bashing Ethiopian christians

speak on it. What do y'all feel about Ethiopian Christianity
