Report: Titanfall 2 Won't Be an Xbox Exclusive
Options
Prepare for titans falling on other consoles.
Unlike the recently released Titanfall, the game's unannounced sequel will not be exclusive to Microsoft consoles, according to a report.
Sources speaking with Polygon revealed the information while reaffirming yesterday's news that EA has secured the publishing rights for Titanfall 2, although the company has yet to confirm any of this.
"We do not comment on rumor or speculation," an EA representative told IGN when asked about a report that it would publish the sequel to Titanfall. "Right now all our focus is on supporting all the fans worldwide enjoying Titanfall."
According to Respawn founder Vince Zampella, Titanfall was originally planned only as a Microsoft exclusive at launch. At some point that deal changed to be a lifetime exclusive to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, a fact which Zampella and Respawn only found out about later.
Titanfall is available now for Xbox One and PC; it was recently delayed until next month for Xbox 360. IGN rewarded the shooter a high score in its review, praising the intense action and high-quality maps.

That Titanfall Bundle is a steal of a deal ......... basically getting the game for free -
This will be the last generation of x-box

Says the guy that sucks ? period. -
Yes, yes I will.
? ? ? -
Good news, been saying they should have done this from the get...
This would have easily did WW COD numbers across all platforms...
These idiots seen how much PS4 outselling XB1 and realised how much money they lost our on. -
1. they hoped that his could be their next Halo or at least Gears of War. The problem is, that the market is so full of FPS that you can find good MP FPS gaming on both systems. this generation its no longer exclusive to xbox.
2. EA thought MS would be selling more units than Sony. Or at least keep it somewhat close. There is way more than a week difference would have you believe. This isnt like the Gears of War people. They have no loyalty to MS going back a generation. MS simply threw more money at the TF people. if Titanfall DOESNT come to PS4 (which i still think could happen), it will be because MS just threw MORE money at them, not because the PS4 (or PS3 even) cant run it. Which brings me to my next point.
3. the funniest thing of all, that for all the great things about the Cloud, its nowhere near as crucial to run Titanfall as EA, MS, and arcade ? wanted you to believe. You mean to tell me the first one couldnt run on PS4, but the more advanced, better polished sequel will? Who honestly believed this ? ?? -

Sounds suspicious. I hope Zampella and Respawn didn't leave get fired from Activision just to find an even bigger monster at EA.
