    I think your main point is correct cigarillo. Good analysis. If it is not the point guard who makes other players better than whoever is the leader on your team will have to have and assume the responsibility to make the rest of the team better if that team is ever to win a championship. The only players I saw who was not a leader on the floor mentally for the rest of the team and came close (which close isn't good enough) to winning a championship was Shaq. I know I went outside of point guards, but I'm saying Jordan, LBJ, Dwyane before LBJ were all leaders and not point guards. They have to think for other players and coach them on the floor to motivate them to excel as a team. The only player I didn't see do this again, was Shaq (and he didn't win without another player coaching others on his team during play on the floor for him).
