Rumor: Take Two Porting Max Payne 3 For Next Gen
Options
Max Payne 3 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, PS4Daily has learned. According to a retailer source who spoke to PS4Daily, two new Max Payne 3 SKUs have been spotted, which correspond to PS4 and Xbox One versions. The game should be announced later this Summer with a Winter 2014 release date.
As announced at E3, Take Two and developer Rockstar are also porting Grand Theft Auto 5 to the PS4 and Xbox One. GTA 5 is scheduled for release in Fall 2014.
Apparently, Rockstar is putting lots of work into getting the RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) game engine working on the new platforms with GTA 5, and all the work will make it easier to get Max Payne 3 on the same platforms, since both games are built using RAGE.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Max Payne 3 should have modest graphical upgrades, and should include the extra content and DLC that's been released on the previous platforms.

Gotta love how developers are spending time and money to develop new and original titles for the next gen.

It's disgusting...
Just make a new Max Payne if you want it on next gen...
Laziness and greed rule the day... -
Sooooooo, basically, people bought Xbox One and PS4 to play PC-quality visuals of games that came out 1 - 2 years ago ... that they could've played then if they had HDMI Out on the video cards of their PCs?
I laughed when dude posted an article here talking about another game industry crash, but this ? seems inevitable. They can't possibly keep turning profits cranking out expensive hardware with Michael Bay-esque software. None of the Max Payne games are worth full price. They're like super rentals that last about five or six hours before you resume your day. -
the last of us remastered is 50 bucks. this one better be 30.

Hope it's cheap. The online vs wasn't too bad either.
