If ? has a plan for you, what's the point in praying? Does ? deviate from his infinite design for your feelings?

    move it back....

personally i dont believe in prayer. there's loss and suffering on Earth 24/7. no amount of prayer will ever change that

To answer your question meditation /prayer was to originally connect to a higher being and being in tune with this being according to which religion you belong to. All of this genie stuff came later.

Prayer or meditation helps one to elevate. It's your connection to the spiritual plane and does help you find the solution. It's way of putting your desire into the universe.

just seems weird for people say, basically, "hmm, i have comments to make regarding this religious topic, but i guess i won't make them because it's not in a different forum that's themed around different topics." just post!

You know full well most threads in this room stick with the same 5-8 posters. And different posters may have had contributed in the other room. Moving the thread was legit, but a slow move may have given it time to gain some varied interested parties

i know full well that if the position is "once a thread is in the SL, i don't want to post in it," then a slow move doesn't really address that. we can debate the merits (obviously i am not a Professional Internet Moderator) but IMHO it would be better to reinforce the idea that X threads are better in SL and Y threads are better in G&S (or wherever).

threads HAVE been moved from here to other subforums, it's just less necessary for obvious reasons.
