How do you stop all these spam e-mails on yahoo?

I know this a basic question, and I don't want them going to my spam folder. I just want the spam to stop completely. I am getting over 500 spam emails a week. Some from websites I signed up to....should I just make a new e-mail?

Go to yahoo from a Web browser not mobile and enter the email in the block address in settings.

Came in here to say this. I had two yahoo mail accounts (business and personal) and the spam and ads inside the email was just terrible. Switched over to gmail and been good ever since plus its all connected to my phone.

Get a new email account and stop passin it out to sketchy websites that don't require a valid email for a confirmation link. Spam is pretty much inevitable but that's what the spam folder is for unless you want a solution from some small mail provider who flat out blocks anything that's considered spam but then you might have legitimate mail being blocked.

lol so what? Unless, you got some criminal ? coming into your gmail that shouldn't matter. And if you got criminal ? coming into your email, you got bigger problems than what email client you're using.
