I'm getting a gym membership later this week as well. I've been calisthenics since early March to get in shape and I feel that I'm ready to get into weights now and pack on some muscle. I looked through the book and it looks great. Any of u read it or his other book?

Just got my membership and whey protein. First time ever using supplements, I really need it because it's hard for me to gain weight and get the required protein I need. The workouts are split into 4 2-week phases and since I'm in good shape already I'm going to start with Phase 2 which is:
Day 1: Upper Body, abs, steady-state cardio
Day 2: Lower Body, calves, abs, interval cardio
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Upper Body, abs, steady-state cardio
Day 5: Lower Body, calves, abs, interval cardio
Day 6 & 7: Rest
The Upper Body Exercises consist of:
Smith Bench Press
Seated Cable Row
Standing Overhead Press
Barbell Curl
Cable Pressdown
Cable Crunch
All are 3 sets, 8-12 reps, except Overhead Press which is 2 sets
Lower Body:
Smith Squat
Leg Press
Dumbbell Stepup
Leg Extension
Barbell Lunge
Lying Leg Curl
Seated Calf Raise
2-3 sets, 8-12 reps
The book has a lot of good advice on succeeding in life, motivation, and maximizing every opportunity. I'm getting started tomorrow. -
My sister just got this book.
I don't know how it works for women tho. -
I just ordered this, I'll try it out and see how it goes.

Nothing really special about this, just the LL brand that's being sold...as long as you add undulating periodization to your workouts and throw in some cardio/HIIT, you'll see real results after a few months. No need for supplements (except whey protein that ? is clutch as ? ) either, just replacing wheat with greens after 5pm, staying consistent with the protein intake, and drinking 15-20 glasses of water a day should be good enough for the dietary side of it.
