Sony Regains Ownership Of The Last Guardian’s Trademark After Successful Petition
If Sony losing the trademark for The Last Guardian depressed you, you can now wipe your tears, as the failure to provide an extension request was unintentional. The good folks at the house of PlayStation simply forgot to send in the necessary documents.
Following Sony’s petition for the revival of the mark, the United States Patent and Trademark Office swiftly acted on it, and just restored “The Last Guardian” to the “Live” status, as you can see at the bottom of the post.
The funniest part in this comedy of errors is that this isn’t the first time that Sony forgets to request an extension, causing The Last Guardian‘s untimely legal death. It already happened back in 2012.

Couldn't agree more, if they were really working on it the media team would have been right on top of this. I think Sony is bullshitting fans to keep us from switching consoles. -
When this game was announced I was still a teenager.
