DICE Threaten's To Break The Internet
DICE will host a panel at the convention on April 17, 10:30 AM PT, which is just three days away.
Most Star Wars fans are probably aware of the annual Star Wars Celebration convention, due this year in the upcoming April 16-19 weekend. 2015 edition is going to be particularly special because of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, of course (the new movie by JJ Abrams, in case you have been living under a rock), but the convention will also feature the first Star Wars Battlefront trailer.
Electronic Arts has snatched the rights for more Star Wars games (another is being developed by Visceral Games) and the first one will be Star Wars Battlefront, a reboot of sorts of the cult multiplayer shooter. Swedish studio DICE, mainly known for its work on Battlefield, has been charged with reimagining the game and since the very beginning, they have described this project as a “match made in heaven”.
Now that the public is finally close to see their work, a few DICE developers seem almost unable to contain their excitement. Gameplay Analyst Christian Johannesén and Global Community Manager Vincent V. Vukovic, for example, threatened to break the Internet with the reveal Star Wars Battlefront trailer.
