My Shadow Knows

I was young
A long time ago
It was bad
Yea, real bad I know
She’s buried up there
Down deep in that hole
Know one else does
But my shadow knows

Dark secrets you pray
Disappear go away
Things that I’ve done
When I’ve come undone
Then out comes the sun
He’s beside you as one
It’s always been so
My shadow knows
Yes, my shadow knows

He’s haunting me
And he’s taunting me
Reminding me
That I can’t break free
All the things I’ve done
All the misery

Please leave, I’m old
Can’t get warm always cold

Praying peace I would know

I HEARD LADYBUGS ARE GOOD
FOR THE TREES .
MAYBE YOU CAN NURSE IT BACK
WHERE THERE ARE THE LEAVES.
LIKE ME NEXT YR 70 I WILL BE
AT LEAST YOU GAVE IT YOUR TEARS

You are
a Young
Flower
I am
An
Old
Oak
Tree

You are
Blossoming
While
I am
Withering
Away

I had my
Spring
When
I Blossomed
too

Yet
my Branches
are
not as New

My Roots
are Firm
Though
the Soil
is Loose

I will Fall Soon
be
at your feet

So Remember
when
I Stood

I
Tried
to be Straight

Perfect
I Was Not
For the Soil
was
not Great

I had my Falls
Limbs
were
Broken too

Yet
I Held Up
When Others
thought
I Would not

The Ground
is Opened
I must
Return to all

Shed no Tears
For
the Leaves
have
Finally Fallen.

glad to hear mcs pAy respect
murder aint justified cuz u was having sex
so liquour got me rhyming slicker
this poem might offend fair warning




my joy is strength
give praise have faith
will travel gods will in babel
rush hour astral travels
no offense for those who dabble
witchcraft took this ?
? her and made her keepda kids
took residence
and made us pay da rent
sold power to the human race
eve to my family took da bait
ignorance or lack of knowledge
I too did things for love of dollars

inspired by the instrumental
pete rock made that beat hot
its only if only hip hop
so my forgive my ? ness
just trying to relieve stress
prophets cant die
so stop it fiery darts on my optics
