Y'all ? ? me sometimes. Ghost had the best verse? Really ? ?

Rae had the best verse to? Really?

Go listen to that ? again and stop being stupid.

It's a reason them two went last. They wasn't even rhyming on topic.

What was the topic of Triumph?

GZA famously said that after hearing Deck's verse it, he didn’t want to have to follow.

Yup, i was just coming to post that i read GZA say "when i heard Decks verse, i said to myself 'How am i gonna follow that?', Decks my hero".

    ^GZA's words

UGOD is straight dumpster juice 99% of the time but this is one of the times he came correct. 1 of the rare times where I don't just zone out when his verse comes up. His verse is underrated on this something serious but Deck got this ? and I'm a big time Ghostface fan

Also watching this makes me sad how Rae has no enthusiasm in his rhymes these days. What happened to the man? I mean he still comes with the lyrics but it just sounds like he isn't even interested when he rhymes these days.

I always wondered what happened at 4:29? Looked like they were about to fall.

Would be dope if they asked all the rappers about what they thought about Triumph when it came out. They all have to have had an opinion. This song is too epic.

I wouldn't go that far but it's certainly a classic that defines an era.

Other songs that I would consider "classic that define an era"

    The Breaks
    The Message
    Planet Rock
    I Need Love
    Push It
    It Takes Two
    Fight The Power
    Nuthin But A G Thing
    Regulate
    Dear Mama
    Juicy
    California Love
    Keep Their Heads Ringin
    The Benjamins
    Money Power Respect
    Hardknock Life
    Stan
    In The Club
