So jeezy dropped a weedplate?
He finally ran out of gas huh -
Just grabbed this and the new redman.
Got homework all weekend listening to these 2 -
I haven't heard it but he slick need to take a break from music for awhile then come back with some fie.
He gotta loyal fan base & he's at a place that he don't have to drop frequently because when his album hit the store then his base are going to buy it
Look at all the artist with the GOAT catalogs (Scarface, GhostFace etc) them guys don't drop every year. They take their time with their music -

The ? can come for whoever...Who are you supposed to be? His groupie?
That being said this album does have bangers...
Jeezy's creative ceiling has peaked a long time ago..hes a middle GA ? ,them ? aren't the most divinely conscious ninjas..Plus eye know ? from Macon to Decatur who said jeezys so called street stripes are questionable
He tried to put a new spin on his content with the whole "church" ? but it comes off as creatively "burnt out"

Have to murder this one, murder that one
Get a vest or two
Get a fourty or fourty five if they pressin' you
Send you to medical
Grab you by the throat
Vocalize notes, quotes get you high as coke
You and I elope
To ? a mockingbird
I'm the philosopher, I'm the OG champ Bernard Hopkins flow

The ? way up in a higher place
I'm for a mature audience, reppin' the empire state

I like this album more than his last. Gonna check the Nas jawn now.

60-65,000 projections

-
Another weed plate album
-
Last half of the album is a lot less generic than the 1st. If he wouldn't have talked all that ? about this being a different vibe I'd be less disappointed.
-
Cant go wrong with Esco and Snowman

Sales don't matter now, cuz it's not like Jeezy seeing a dime off them anyways nor do they prove that he's successful. He's going to make more money from his business ventures outside of that. He doesn't need to sales to prove anything, literally every album he's dropped has gone platinum or gold (near plat) except for ONE.
The only rappers who can go platinum these days are Jay-Z, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and now J.COle. Nobody buys CDs anymore and within a decade getting a million streams will be the new platinum. I will bet any of you ? when NaS drop his album won't even ? 150k in the first week - he's not on Defjam anymore he's on an independent label. No one remembers how much Pac sold cuz Eminem surpassed his numbers - but we all remember the impact of his music, same thing with Jeezy. The album is dope and we getting a more mature Jeezy, he did his numbers with no radio singles or nothing.
In pop music Celion Dion or Barry Manilow will drop an album that will sell 10k for the first week and no one says ? , they'll talk about the quality of the music, so how come we can't do that in rap ? ? complain if the album is no good but if it's good still won't go out and buy it to support the artist and wonder why Talib or Common Sense don't sell....
*end of rant*
You always come through bae @Sion

1st listen and I never heard a song better than Politically Correct off the mixtape.
Gonna check the Nas joint though. -
I prefer the Nas\Ross collabs over the jeezy\nas collabs overall
