no matter how much people keep hyping him up, j.cole's career is not looking very promising right now. i think he fits in perfectly with wayne and his fan base. there basically the same people. jay fans probly wouldnt be feelin this dude

J Cole doesn't have the charisma and hit songs Drake has. J Cole has more lyrics arguably, but Drake is the hit maker. Drake and Jay working together would have been delicious, no ? .....Jay wouldve encouraged Drake to do more rapping and less singing. Kanye didnt really sing until his 3rd album, when he was already a bonafide star. Drake's constant singing has kind of lowered his reputation among hard core hip-hop fans.

I think Drake made the right choice, cuz just like J.Cole, Drake would have got a 360 deal..

ANd everybody that signs with JAy dont do good sole (expect Kayne) but hes a different story

Thats an ignorant statement bruh. Jay and pac were great rappers but had solid business minded ? around them...without dames pushing and marketing skills, jay probably would have fell off after his first two albums. Em would not have ever gotten on without Dre imo, unless another big name dude lik Dre gave him a solid cosign. Dudes get on not just because of music but by promotion and co-signs. If the dopest ? was always the most popular ? would have bought ten million copies og "Fishscales" and "The Estactic"
You don't know what the ? your talking about. Dame Dash wasn't even anything special in the industry. Jay made his way by putting out quality ? from start. Yeah marketing matters, but when most of the name that we're discussing came out they didn't have a mega-star that they were attached to that the world knew about. My point with Drake is that most of why he's even on like he is now is more because of marketing & his association with Lil Wayne, the biggest name in rap right now & not mainly by his own doing!

Why would you leave a career, by which you'd make more money in than rapping?
