    The worst thing about this contract as well as the Darko one at the freaking beginning of FA , if this Joe J signing go throughs, it gonna raise up the price on all the remaining FA (the stars or whatever) , so teams will have to pay more.

    They had no choice but to pay Joe Johnson just for the sake of keeping the team competitive. With that said the Hawks should have waited and let the market dictate JJ's value. They just rushed and overpaid him the max.
