Because of the Undertaker I see the tombstone as a sacred move . A move used to end a match . A move that shouldn't be ? out like the ddt has become and the super kick is on its way to becoming .
Outside of the Undertaker , was it ever a move taken serious ?
I'm watching WW3 and I seen Benoit hit Kensuke Sazuki with one , then a flying headbutt ..... AND HE KICKED OUT, got up and hit Benoit with a brainbuster for the win
Earlier in that same ppv, DDP and Marc Mero exchanged tombstones like it wasn't a finisher at all

All moves are ? out eventually. WWE has done a great job of protecting the Tombstone BUT...when Taker calls it quits expect alot of people to be using it and it being kicked out of or being used as a high spot.

It's prob cause of his height u know how Vince likes big guys so they've protected it.
Once taker hangs it up and Kane that move will go with them in the E.
They already banned the pile driver this will go too -
really the undertaker, kane, and justin credible are the only guys i remember consistently using it as a finish

Fit Finlay -
as much as i love Young Bucks, IndieTaker move I find irritating expecially when it's not finishing or destroying the opponent.

If The DDT can be kicked out of today then the tombstone isn't an exception
-
I jus don't see how turning a guy upside down and spiking his head into the mat shouldn't end the match
Jus like how the brsinbuster is revered in some promotions -
I don't think anyone else will use the tombstone piledriver after taker because of the whole concussion safety ? . Taker and Kane are just the ones trusted to use it safely.
-
with taker and kane the head is rarely if ever spiked into the mat anyway
i think it wont be used simply cuz within wwe its synonymous with them, but then again... -
theres an epidemic of sorts on the indies at least of folks kickin out of finishing sequences that should DEFINITELY end a match, then losing to something relatively simple in comparison.
-
Just end the tombstone when taker dips and that's it. Shane mackman should have taken a tombstone from the top of the cell at mania through the table
-
Taker fell off
He kept kickn ? in the nuts towards the end of his matchss -
An ROH match will have like 30 moves that should be finishers and they just keep on going

Very typical of the indies. ? is elaborate as ? . -
DDT and the super kick need to be pulled off the move list for wrestlers and set to be one guys finisher.
Let Orton keep the DDT's
Super Kick saved for someone who's worthy of it. -
Well it's banned in the WWE unless a wrestler gets blessings to use it so it won't be happening much there.
-
orton & ambrose should be the only person using DDT's right now.....
-
Sting was using the tombstone in WCW also
