The only basketball games I've ever played have been the NBA Jam and NBA Street games which were brilliant. They should just go about reviving the Street series... and the whole EA Sports Big stable while they are at it.

NBA Live 16 sold just 250,000 copies worldwide. When you consider it’s primary competition NBA 2K16 sold 7.29 million, it’s clear drastic measures were in order.
Sheesh @ the sale numbers comparison.. it's Karma.. EA bought the NFL licence to eliminate competition, forcing 2K games (at the time Visual Concepts) to ? their pretty damn good NFL 2K franchise. ? NBA Live.. don't feel sorry for them one bit. Wouldnt take a copy of that game if it was free. Good riddance. -
NBA live has been cancelled for at least a decade now...it just took a long time for the developers to catch on

I haven't bought anything EA since NCAA Football 07, that ? used to go! EA been fell off ever since, though, from having the licensing to everything. And ain't this the second time that they've canceled? I think NBA Elite got canceled, too.
