When i was 15, this young black barber in the hood ? my ? up so bad, i had to go home and fix it up myself. When it was time to pay, i told the ? i was 12 to get the $5 kids discount.
Now im 40 and he's the owner of that barbershop 25 years later.
I have the incredible urge to go in there, tell him this story, and give him $5. -

Everyday of my childhood. I think my mom wanted to a hairdresser or something cuz she was* always cutting our hair and giving us perms. Half my childhood was looking like a boy in a dress.

I once got a haircut by a white woman because it was $5. Being frugal, this was a good deal. She didn't give me a lineup or brush off the hair that she cut off and landed on my clothes.
Had to go to another barber and got laughed at.
Even worse than a bad haircut is waiting 3 hours for your turn and constantly being told you're next. Cut my own hair now.

my female cousin was in beauty school or whatever and used to cut her brothers hair along with mine
so, I had a kid high top fade back in elementary school
she was nice with the fade part, but forgot the guard on the clippers when she started cutting my high top and like hollowed my ? out
my ? looked like a great wall or some ? ..hair along the outsides like a border, but was ? empty behind the wall
had to get it cut off after that...along with my duck tail

was doin bad and had to cut my own ? for a while....couldnt fade so I put it on a 1 and buzzed the ? out that ? ....my edge was straight I just looked like a ese
let uncle ? my head up when I was in 5th grade and ended up shaving my ? .....So not only was I the only kid fully bald, but I used a ? razor so my ? got all ate up and crusty for a couple weeks...? was hell....all I could do when I got home was soak a towel in ice water and put that ? on my head smh
