Can't really be mad at this. Might be an argument for Shaq at center though.

    No there isn't.

Kareem has 38,000 career points and played 20 seasons

Shaq has 28,000 career points and played 19 seasons.

Basically Kareem has 10,000 more points and played one more season.

Dr J is that ? . He's 3 on my list but ppl can make a argument for KD.

    LBJ
    Bird
    Dr. J
    KD
Worthy/Nique. (I go back and forward with these two)

    Iceman as well

Don't like picking the best this way (i.e. by position). Magic may be the best PG ever (a case can be made), but he's definitely not one of the top 5 players ever. Not even 10.

    Craziness.

Is he better than Kobe? No. So that pushes him out of the top 5 (assuming that the other four players listed here are better than him too).

Is he better than Wilt, Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Steph Curry (when all is said and done), or Dr. J? No. Along with the players already listed that pushes him out of the top 10.

The point guard is a weak position in terms of all time greats. That's the only reason why Magic gets these mentions.

Dude is probably not even top 15.

    The bolded is for SGs

What you mean? That the SG is deep in terms of all time greats?

    If so, i agree.

How is SG more deep than PG ? ??

Cause you can find more top shelf players at that position (MJ, Kobe, Jerry West, Clyde Drexler, Allen Iverson, etc.) than you can at the PG position.

Magic, Isiah Thomas, Oscar Robertson, John Stockton, CP3, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, ... etc

Only one of those guys played without an all time great coach. Just saying!

Well to be fair, Phil wasn't an all-time great coach when the Bulls started winning. It was that winning that put him on the road to being considered an all-time great coach.

That's true, but there is a difference between playing for an all time great coach and playing for an all time great coach in the mtaking. Phil was a nobody when he first got to the Bulls. He wasn't instantly a great coach. He grew into that ? . MJ was arguably the best player in the league before Phil even got to Chicago, so you can use Phil being a great coach to indict his greatness.

Phil didn't start as a Hall of fame coach when he started coaching. Pop wasn't either when he became Spurs head coach in 96

Yep you can say the same thing about pop and riley.

Pat riley wasn't even the head coach when magic won his first ring.

So wait bruh..... which one of the five had a coach who won a ring before that All time great player got there? Don't worry I'll wait? Kareem won with the Bucks damn near a half a decade before he got to the Lakers and nobody remembers his coach there, stop that ? the coaches and players were both as important as each other, don't start that Phil argument for Jordan, cause Shaq aint listed at the 5 Kareem is(even though I PERSONALLY would take Shaq at the 5 over Kareem if we talking absolute prime play).

When you talk about the top SFs.....you need to put some respeck on his name
This man is so underrated and disrespected it's a shame.

He isn't the best but I agree he's underrated he's the 2nd greatest two way sf behind Bron, probably the greatest defender at the position, 93-94 proves he could of had a great career without Jordan averaging 22/8/5.5/2.5 at 49% shooting, only other players to average 20/8/5/2.5 in a season were Mike and Magic who did it both once where Pippen did it twice in back to back season, Bulls replaced Jordan with Pete Myers and Pippen still led them to 57 wins, 3rd in MVP voting where a lot of people argue he should of won it, all star game MVP for what it's worth, lost to a better team in the playoffs but had Jordan never come back and they had to keep building around Pippen they could of eventually been contenders again, he shouldn't be faulted because he played next to the goat, they won so much because they had two historically good players on that team, and it's still Pippen>>>>>Durant
