The kids at Michael Jordan’s Flight School basketball day camp no doubt came away with some lasting memories this week. Perhaps their most enduring lesson, though, might be this: Never, ever bet against MJ on the basketball court, no matter how old he may seem.
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul set the rules: MJ gets six shots. If he misses three of them, every camper gets a free pair of Jordan-brand sneaks. Jordan might be 53 now, but if you think the man’s competitive fire might have dwindled, even when it comes to a challenge involving a group of youngsters, think again.
His Airness didn’t miss a shot.
