I always wanted to know - how big was the Alamodome in the 90s? I see old Spurs games and they have a huge curtain covering up. what was that for?

It was huge, considering some NBA venues now hold up to like 18,000 - 24,000. And the Alamodome would curtain off about 30,000+ seats because it wasn't necessary but still had like 30,000 seats not curtained off.

Just as bad an eye sore in person like when the Marlins would cover large portions of the stadium that they didn't make tickets available for.

Smh at them thinking a pro football team was an option there.

New Amway that the Magic play in is probably the best NBA venue I've been in even over AAA and Staples.
Levi Stadium is nice with really comfortable seats but could be better.
United Center is worth going to for the MJ statue alone.
Missed old Yankees stadium, but love the new one.
Where the Dolphins and Chargers play... trash.
I appreciated the old stadiums in Texas when I was kid, seeing Steve McNair play for the Oilers in preseason in the Astrodome and Rockets championship runs at the Summit.
My alma maters stadium is small but when it's hopping it has these metal bleachers, so if everyone is jumping up and down the whole stadium bounces which is why they call it the Trampoline or Bounce House.

No reason to even post after this. This ? pulling out his Press credentials! LOL!

Nah I think @Stew got homie and everyone else beat by a long shot

I like the old giants stadium better than metlife. Metlife is plain as hell for a new stadium.
