Impeaching his ? ass would be the easy way out for him, he would just say the swamp in DC is ganging up on him and want to stop him from Making America Great again. -

On one hand, its true that its too late now. There are elections. Thats the time if you sit out you lose. Those of us who didnt sit out did their thing when it was time. Now thats over for this round so its about moving on. But on the other hand people whined and ? about Obama and he won the actual popular vote and electoral vote both times and there was no foolery about foreign hacking and all the rest. There is plenty to question about the "legitimacy" of Trumps Presidency. Since they did it to Obama with no cause, they rightfully get it back about Trump (with overwelming cause). It is what it is. Because there are real issues this time. -

As a whole ??? nothing one black person says can affect us as a whole in every way in any meaningful way.... however it does affect us politically this man's influence May in the eyes of our economic and political competition automatically align us with the " trump isn't legitimate" camp and that's a foolish place to be because black people have more pressing issues to deal with and on top of that Trump really was elected legitimately.
So it's like fighting a losing battle for no reason and when you do that you lose political capital a black politician losing political Capital means the black community loses political capital and clearly that will be bad for all of us -

Ordinarily I would agree at least in part. But Trump did that all during Obama's term...and won the Presidency himself as a result. It was a winning strategy. It is fair to question the legitimacy of Trump's Presidency in response considering this and the fact that he lost the popular vote and there was foreign interference in the election. So thats easily in bounds for Lewis he wasnt out of bounds. I agree with taking the high ground and not becoming unhinged angry bitter and stooping to the depths but this is fair game. -
