If I named the thread "Jay Z talks about Ether and Takeover" or "Jay Z talks about Renegade" it would get locked before anybody read it.
But I came across it on Youtube and it was only put up 20 hours ago. So I figured it was new. -
The video isn't about ether vs takeover but Jay made a great point about people always saying who got who on a song instead of enjoying it. I don't mind it for songs were the rappers are just spitting like I shot ya, big l the graveyard, etc but when songs that have serious content like life's a ? , complexion, etc, when the song is built off content or whatever and people get stuck on who got who. That's what's annoying

its 2017. as the years go on, the more the songs are gonna be considered as equal. i feel the same about 15 years ago tho.
