your kid(s) are teens.
this started from you let's say...you looking thru their room because they seem different or changing. they in turn get angry and hit the net to look you up to show you how it feels to search for something bad to get on someine.some ? you didn't want them knowing about came up and they try to use it to discredit how you were raising them.

would you be mad they did it and violated your privacy or would you be OK with it and applaud their willingness to dig for truth?

Is it that private if it's on the net?
If my kid pulled up some ? for the purposes of discrediting how I parent, I'd politely invite them to bounce and raise themselves how they see fit -
I would tell them their motivation was stupid as ? . I'm the parent they're the child. My duty is to be in their business not vice versa. Only thing they'd learn from there is how to stay in your own lane/place as a child.

Wouldn't give a ? . By the time I have teenage kids most people's entire lives will be online.
If you don't want your kids to know, then don't do foul ? . I'm guaranteeing everyone reading this that they are going to look. You'll be a fool not to.
If i was 16 or 17 you damn right i'd be looking, pure curiosity is reason enough. -

My folks were open with their mistakes of the past and used it to teach. And even as a kid I'd catch them back tracking and being inconsistent at times. They didn't discourage it, they just made it clear that they had the power, I was the child, and the world is full of grey.
I'd do the same. -

Every parent has the hypocrite talk at some point in time.
The point is to be consistent in your parenting.
IE: keeping them out of grown folks business.
When they enter a room full of adults drinking and talking they need to leave
This ? stinks of a child seeing their parent as a buddy or peer.
Which again with consistent and fair parenting this is all preventable.
And to yall with records...
Be open and honest about the ? , say you made a mistake and you paid the price for it, and that one of your goals is to ensure they never suffer like you.
Cant get mad at your kids for lying when you keep secrets from them that will one day impact the dynamic between yall.

i got these two teenage ? im raisin and they ? up in school..
i make no secret about my fuckups.. but i let them know i was raised different in a far different era..
its hard for me to get them to see the consequence in they action cause i have none.. so ? be goin in one ear out the other and i be wantin tk ? them up..

I would not be comfortable at all. My son is too young to understand my faults but as he gets older I will explain who I was too him. To teach him which way not to go down. In the process of moving out east so he does not have to grow up in LA with the stigma of being so and so son, grandson and nephew. That could be very enticing as a teenager too hear stories about your lineage .

my family was deep in the streets...but my dad took his time raising me...pointed out fukk ? ..
I never wanted to be apart of that world....simply because it made no sense.
