Big Little Lies is an American dark comedy-drama HBO miniseries series created and written by David E. Kelley, based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty.[1] The series began filming in January 2016.[2] The miniseries consists of seven episodes, all directed by Jean-Marc Vallée.[3] It premiered on February 19, 2017.[4]
It kinda reminds me of a less comedic Weeds in its satire of affluent suburban life. It kept me interested enough through the first two episodes. It's apparently only going to be 7 episodes and be a wrap though kinda similar to The Night Of.
