I think MJG was burning it as more of a sign of disrespect to it.
He touched on a lot of social issues on that album. Actually an underrated album imo. -

He did..these ? dont listen to music like that though... you can tell by comments they skim through it

I think to some some blacks as well as some southern whites tha confederate flag is no more than a sense of southern pride... but to alot of those white people it is used as a symbol of superiority ova us .... but if you really think about it tha united states flag is even more of a symbol of the injustice that has plaqued our people for centuries
