I think it was s draw they both were talking about nothing -
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanHustler sucked
-
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanPlay on Playa >>>>>Hustlers
-
Nas - Hustler (ft. The Game)Still Dreaming would've gotten my vote. Black Republicans was cool but it was a slight let down for me, they made a much better record together later with Success.
-
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanOnce that beat kicked in you get goose bumps becuz it just sounds like something epic finna happen
-
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanBlack men taking over the national anthem and making it ours. Epic ? . Black republicans was fire

I'm probably one of the only people on the face of the earth who liked 'who killed it' that track dope to me and I liked the concept.

Nah I like it too. I just think many people's problem was the voice he was using on the song -
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanGreat album gonna give it a listen later.
-
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanBeat was dope but I expected more from the verses
-
Too much was happening on black republican the best should of been simpler
-
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanBoth songs were dope and I love this album, it's a personal favorite of mine. Loved every song but who killed it and we're are they now. If those songs were not on it I would listen to the whole cd all the way through
-
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanBlack Republican was monumental at that time. I had forgotten Hustlers even existed.

Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black Republicani always liked this verse
1995, eleven years from the day
I'm in the record shop with choices to make
"Illmatic" on the top shelf, "The Chronic" on the left homie
Wanna cop both but only got a twenty on me
So ? it, I stole both, spent the twenty on a dub sack
Ripped the package off "Illmatic" and bumped that
For my ? it was too complex when Nas rhymed
I was the only Compton ? with a "New York State of Mind"
Inside the dope house bottlin' up sherm, bangin' The Firm
Dre was king then so I waited my turn
Fast forward, now I'm makin 'em burn
Ended my peers careers, hollered at Nas, a hard lesson was learned
So I reconciled my differences like he did with Jigga
I stopped beefin' with ? , 'cause I'm "Ether" to ?
Comb the earth 'til there's no one left
"If I Ruled the World" I summons all you weak rap ? to death
I felt this ? , especially the part about tryin to cop two album wit a 20. I dont remember the albums i was tryin to buy i do remember stealing them ? from a Coconuts or Sam Goody's record store forget which one. And spending the 20 on black & milds and some Popeye's or some ? . -

I think they all dropped the same day -
How is M.O.B. not on this list?? That ? Nas went in on that dark track.

i picked the two songs with the prominent features on them for this thread........but yeah MOB definitely a top track on dis album. -
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanPlay on playa was dope too, two years earlier Snoop was dissing Nas in interviews and Nas went at him on Streets disciple, it was cool to see them do a track and Nas zoned out on that Storch beat, ten times better than that throwaway Dre beat Hustlers
-
Nas - Hustler (ft. The Game)Had to vote Hustler because that was my favorite song on that CD. I was kinda disappointed in Black Republican to tell y'all the truth. Thought something wit Jay and Nas on it would be better than that. I like the Luda song Luda did with both Jay and Nas better than BR. (Luda out spit both of them on that btw)

Are u talking about the Nas/Tupac confrontation?? I only asked because Snoop decided to change up the version lately saying how Nas could have gotten Pac killed. -

He only started saying that after 06, before that he was saying "Pac punked Nas", they asked Nas about it he said he didn't know where all that was coming from but ? bless him, then he got at him on the 3rd verse of Nazareth Savage -
Nas (Feat. Jay-Z) - Black RepublicanA lot of beefs got squashed in 06, Snoop and Xzibit on a track on Games album was significant to me to, DPG too
