In song you can clear your thought, but in poetry You'll clear your thoughts even in a better gratification. -

When im moved by an event in my life I typically write to share my joy and feelings.
Express what I'm going thru, what others may be going thru or have been through.
I wouldn't list as an escape but def as therapy for something I can get out of my head that may bother me or may be just weighing heavy on my mind positively or negatively.
I try to relate, relay and convey my truth in that moment. -

But after reading her response I realized it wasn't worth it and had a change of plans

To understand my inner worth
In order to avoid the invisible friend
that want to make amends with every argument
constantly telling me that I don't have what it takes to be
better than the few or just a plain unusual individual
religious propaganda is my stance to the poetry
except I'm not trying to take a tithe
I'm aiming for the wise and focus
lead them into the past times of rhyme scriptures
elevation is the motivation
so I put it down on the keyboard despite my promising decline
college middle age broken bastard
casting spells on my future karma
harming the existence of my resistance
like a dragon ball z episode
bare witness to the fitness of a man flexing for five episodes
screaming and growing
expelling and exhaling my inner demons
that's been seeking through my pores from ages
of ridicule and bitter feuds with my former self
trying to adjust to being a man of good wealth
to the average mass of people that have trauma of baby momma drama
and fatherless ambitions despising my reasoning towards breaking the chain
I write to recite the words of pain to help my fellow youth maintain
and gain wisdom that this word ain't ?
you are a promising king
for now I give you this words as armor and rhymes for the moat
try to maintain as the army within yourself protects you
no weapon shall form against thee who trust in the epitome of the beginning
there's no end to you
