So in this current time of "commercial/gangsta/pop rap vs hip hop i hear alot of points being made from people as well as the more passionate "hip-hop purists" on alot of reasons for the decline of the art form or at least the representation of it in the mainstream.I think one of the biggest issues which is focused on the least is the rampant misogyny in rap.Honestly even from the begining of hip hop through its golden era it was difficult for women to shine as hard as the men without having to be as hard or rugged as the men.A good article to referance on this by Tawni Fears here:http://ahh.fm/?p=144845.Now its like being trashy and loose is supposed to show empowerment for woman?My dude chicken and beef inc hit on this subject with there Mock-umentary: "Monkey Gang" heres a vid they put up spoofing and giving a damn good depiction of whats being put out here and being called music: Again this is a Parody..its mest up that it's hard to tell the difference t
