yea he was, but it was slick boring imo..
in da diplomat days he combined spittin with swag..

yeah thats about right. U didn't like S.D.E i thought it was cool i was bumping it earlier, cam been one of my fav ny rappers. -

on a scale of 1-10? about a 5 he about as avg as it gets lyrically but he makes interesting music.

i just recently moved him to top 5 from top 10. i revisited a lot of his work, and hes always spittin, whether is sde days or dipset days. it just that some people werent getting what he says. plus hes been able to successfully reinvent his style, something 99% of the game cant do, and he is easily top 3 most influential rapper, whether people realize it or not. but thats just my opinion. -

yeah i can agree with that i was listening to sde and purple haze, and was like damn cam came hard on both albums imo. Also his stuff on diplomats was tight. -

The scouting report on Cam hasn't changed his whole career. He's always been the type to fall back then rebound with better situation. When you look at the crews he's been part of Children of the Corn, UNtertainment, Dipset, Roc-a-Fella, thats pretty much covers everything hot in NY for the last 15 years. Cats thought Cam was done when he couldnt get on the Hot Boys Remix with Missy and Nas and chose to ride the bench at Sony. If you have a true hustler's mentality like Cam you're always one deal or one song away from greatness.
