How to stay in shape and strong quickly?

Hey what's up everyone I made this thread up, so people can disscus there information how they kept themself in shape and what made them strong. Or you can leave any advices in ways how to stay fit and strong. Thanks for the support.


Try not too eat too much
Stay away from smoking
Don't drink alcohol
Drink plenty of water
Eat less....salad is a target
Avoid fried food, sometimes is okay
Eat healthy
Avoid eating very late

workouts:
Lift weights
20 pushups
20 sits up
Jog
Running
Play some sports
Baseball
Tennis
Football
Soccer
Basketball.....how about anyone?

    20-30 minutes of either weight lifting or cardio every other day, and just simply alternate between the two.
    WATER....DRINK LOTS OF WATER!! Good for you and it keeps you flushed.
    A regular sleep schedule. If you can't get a full 7-8 hours every night, try to get in a 1-2 hour nap daily on top of the amount of sleep you usually get every night.
    Healthy snacking(fruit, yogurt, pretzels, veggies,etc.) throughout the day to curb those bad cravings.

    alot of people sleep on the benefits of drinking enough water

    8 glasses give or take depending on your weight and or how much you sweat

    if you wanna trim fat then don't put alot of fat in your body ( greasy foods, deep fried foods, fatty foods)

    instead of drumsicks and thighs do chicken breast

    if you're gonna eat read meat make sure it's lean even it's ground beef

    instead of fried chicken breast do a grilled chicken breast

    plus when you eat right you feel good

    I'm just starting to realize that

    20 push ups and 20 sit ups is what a person should do to warm up before working out

    I try to mix a high intensity work out with a low intensity work out.... So I do push ups, dips, lunges , sit ups.... and I mix in free weights..
    My main problem is trying to gain weight though

    Thanks for the advice....avoid the fried chicken breast....eat grilled chicken breast.....or bake
    Defintley...I want to work out abdominals......I believe its good to start 100 sit ups...there people do sits ups everyday.
    And running to
    You very right, drink water.....I heard the same, 8 glasses of water thats good thanks, any new ideas feel free drop some advices, thanks
    By the way do you read fitness magzines? Are they useful?

    If you go to gym there many machine to workout for the chest. Don't remember many names, but try the bench press, and the chest press.
    Or you can do push ups, jog, or run is the best way shape the chest.

    its to the point when i go weeks without people will think im actually workin out.. thats how much weight i shed...

Is MMA a sport, like wrestling?....I've heard products like Muscle Milk, Protien whey, Creatine, but I'm not familar with P90X is that a powder drink? What's it for? Energy or muscle gainer......what's good to keep you shape, good luck. I'm always looking forward reading your adivces, thank and good luck.

Meet the Sniper....Wait...lol...you got me all wrong....20 push ups and 20 situps for the start who don't work out much...but...normally..100 push ups and 100 situps every other day, is good and fair, how much do you do?....I'm wanted bench 300 pound....but goal is 800 pounds in bench....lol..and I'm no girl...but I do workout with girls and guys. How about you!

    Do you go to the gym? Do you play any sports?....what are healthy meals and good exercise? Anytime feel free to drop any good advices...besides drugs...good luck..and take care.

    Actually beating ur meat is technically a workout lol...forearm strength

    What's up, Lurk_Hinrich? Lol....I rather use dumbell for the forearm....or pushs or pullups...is there any other good workout besides beating the meat? Lol..
    Question? What is the best workout to beat people in arm wrestling?

    What's up? Capital B......drinking too much alcohol is not good for your liver and stomach. Try drinking plenty of water....and when you think of drinking alcohol, walked it off, go to the gym, talk to some friends or walk it out and run, should help you make you feel better. if you have any other good advice feel free to drop by any more advices.     Usually, I workout 3-4 days a week, but today was my 6th straight day working out!

    I very rrarely eat fried, junk, or fast foods. I love to cook my own food.
    Drinking plenty of water, as you should- it's very important.
    I do cardio every time I workout.
    Power clean and jerks, deadlifts, different squats, flys, arm curls with the barbell(115 lbs, 2 sets of 10-15), and multiple other workouts, depending on if I'm at my house or at my lady's house.
    100 regular push-ups, followed by 50 diamond push-ups and 50 knuckle push-ups almost everyday.
    2 sets of 40 sit-ups almost everyday.


    Man, I just love to stay in shape!

    yeh i know.. my pops died of cerosis (sp) of the liver.. my grandma on my dad side died of alcohol poison.. grandpops on my moms side died of alcoholism.. grandma's an alcoholic.. u get where im goin..

    i will say im not an alcoholic though.. i go weeks and even went months without drinkin.. im more of a social drinker.. but ? .. im always in social environments. lol

    i like to workout.. and i do drink hella water.. but iv gotten out of the swing of things.. so its hard to get back to workin out..
    never been the cardio type less a ball is in my hand... i.e. basketball and football.. jus bought a bike though.. we'll see how that goes.. and i hit the weights every other day..

    i need to do cardio though.. cause i aint tryin to get no bigger.. but i be hittin the weights all damn day..

    Cleaning up diet (cutting out a lot of fast food, soda, and unneeded sugary foods), but still eating enough to keep metabolism high.
    Stopped drinking (I may drink once a month, but I don't get f***'d up anymore) -Alcohol keeps you weak
    Stopped smoking -only smoked when I drank anyway
    Pullups (with dead hangs and static holds)
    Squats and Deadlifts
