70's, 80's, and early 90's had the baby making game on lock...now adays these ? wack as hell....trill talk i aint smashing these chicks to Trey Songz it gotta be some old school ? ...so is there any classics being made?

seeing as how classics take time to get that status I'd say nobody knows...but I will say that Trey Songz, at least on his last album Ready, seems to be one of the few mainstream R&B singers that's actually singing and not doing that half-rapping ? where they wanna show off how many punchlines they can come up with now that they are hanging around rappers

read my original post again. That's your problem. You're stuck in the past. Go visit my soul thread in R&B and alternatives. I posted some joints from the 00's by talented soul artists. Anthony Hamilton is probably the best of this decade -

and i aint stuck in the past if anything im trying to focus on something good being made now that will last in the future....? -
"sing like me" was one of the top underrated r&b songs in 09-10

Soul music isn't all about baby making music and yes, he has tracks for that. Pick up an album -

Huh? Mariah Carey just made an album full of classic r&b material.

smh at the hype yall give Trey Songz, ? doesn't know if he want to rap or sing. Truth of the matter is, none of these ? are making soul or traditional music, the music is tacky and abrassive if you ask me. These dudes don't even have the class to use metaphors to describe sex anymore, they are straight out singing about ? and sucking literally. The last great R and B album i heard was Donell Jones "Where i wanna be" album.
