Not To throw salt, But anybody saying this album is weak or wack, must be a fan of yo gotti,Waka,2chainz,Gucci or lil wayne. Life is Good is a contemporary album for true nas fans who have like me has experienced his growth. Production is there and Lyrics is there, what more do u want.
BTW My Fantasy Nas album would consist of Production by:
    1. DJ Premier
    2. 9th Wonder
    3. Just Blaze
    4. Kanye West
    5. Pete Rock
    6. The Alchemist
    7. Rza
    8. Dr.Dre
    9. The Neptunes
    10. Marley Marl

Bet ? wouldnt complain of a album of that Magnitude. "Dope Beats,Dope Rhymes, this Hip Hop ? aint really that Hard" - Phonte. If U a Little Brother Fan you'll know that quote.

    Nah untitled sucks too

Im a hip hop head and listen to old school hip hop more than any current hip hop,no need for the presumptuous "you must listen to wacka, gucci,oj the juiceman" generalizations

This album sucks to me,Im being objective it has no replay value and besides no intro, world is an addiction, you wouldn't understand and stay these other songs are trash especially The don and accidental murderers those songs are super wacc

Just my opinion of course nas groupies wont understand

Thats the great thing about album, different songs cater to different people, I skip A queens story and You wouldnt Understand, But some dudes like them,Thats their preference. But in the world we live in its hard to get good albums, rare almost. Ab-soul's Control system is still number one to me. Life is good is a good record imo, and this is coming from a consumer. No Groupie. Personally feel HipHop is Dead album is super weak, and so is the 2nd disc of streets disciple minus War,Suicide Bounce and Thief's theme, and Streets disciple. I Nit pick when it is needed. Fellow Hip Hop heads, can u honestly say in the past year that we had an album of this caliber on the market, honestly. Kendrick Lamar's Section 80 comes to mind but thats it.

Queens story sucks to me too ,and nas hasn't dropped a hot album since stillmatic

distant relatives, untitled, streets disciple were all trash but every album(except distant relatives) had 1-2 songs I can bump just like this one

In the past year watch the throne was the best album released to me.Great production, great substance and great lyrics from jigga.Classic album

overall the genre is dead and I expected nasir to drop a refreshing hip hop album but he couldn't and its sad

Really Watch the Throne? Production is there, but even Kanye outshines Jay-z on almost all the songs,Lyrically its no where near Liife is good,The Hunger that Shawn carter had is gone, only joints i rock with is Gotta have it, new day, otis, and Murder to excellence. Primetime and The Joy are bonus tracks. basically a dissapointment. But I do agree the genre is very weak.

Specifically name the songs where kanye outshined jigga

kanye sucked on every song except murder to excellence,no church, made in america and new day

Jigga was featured solo on why I love you, welcome to the jungle and who gon stop me

and he bodied kanye on primetime, thats my ? ,ham and illest mf alive

lol His flows on the album maybe his weakest though, that like praising a veteran who gets a ring but gets no playing time. Nas at least still sounds like his flow is still attacking the mic, Jay just sounds bored.not taking anything from his greatest but Jay hasnt impressed me since american gangster, with any of his verses besides jay electronica's shiny suit theory

Yo anyone think Nas is subliminally dissing Jay by mentioning how he still looks 20 a bunch of times on this album? Everyone knows Jay is insecure about his looks and looks 55 even though hes 45?

Jay>>>Kanye on WTT jay still can bring the heat. When Ross and jay electronica drop well see what jay got since they both said jay went in on there albums. I might be wrong about jay electronica tho

I stay Firm on my position, Jay presented no Shock value lyrically on Welcome to the jungle. No Hip Hop quotables on any of the songs from him, except Primetime. Kanye Outshined him plain and simple. I bought it for Kanye, kanye has a better verse on Primetime though.Crazy to think otherwise. But This is a Nas Thread

Life is Good is better Than Watch The Throne, bet half the cats in the thread would agree.

thats because too many cats look at lyricism and go ....

    punchlines>

......kanye did nothing to outshine jay on wtt........ and LIG is in no way a better more cohesive record the WTT.... smh

I skip more records on wtt than LIG, and can actually play LIG all the way through if need be. I yawn at songs like why i love you, welcome to the jungle, Lift off is horrible and ? in paris is special only for the beat neither did great on that record. every Nas song on LIG at least keeps my attention imo
