Nas............

And this is not an affront to Nas, dude is one of my favorite rappers. But I can't help but thinking if he has half of Jay's on mic presence they wouldn't be compared.

Honorable mentions:
Lupe Fiasco

You reaching with Nas fam LOL, ? had the whole 90s on lock & early 2000s as well. Bring that ? name up & ? get wet n/h lol. Nas followers are almost as bad as the jigga warriors smh.

Im gonna go with these 5:

J.Cole: Great lyricist & yes I'm a fan of his music but he doesnt give you the urge to wanna be apart of what he's talking about. He doesn't really have a movement behind him except that ? want that "real hiphop" and thats something EVERYBODY tryna deliver these days (from KRIT, to Gibbs all the way to even Hov). At least with ? like Nas & Jay they gave us Bravehearts & the ROC made us want to wear their clothes, dress like them & be players like they were while having the respect. Cole I think needs to work on this area.

LL Cool J: No diss to the old school but seriously tho, ? made it off his good looks, & skills (IN BATTLE) and tho there isnt anything wrong with all that, he lacks that appeal to wanna consistently follow especially these days. Back then he could use his skills to get him to the top cuz there werent many LL Cool J's or dope ? for that matter. When the 90s came a lot of super lyricists emerged & LL had to find other means so he chose to appeal to the ladies. But after that in the 2000s he went from bein a legend to a old ? making songs for 14-16 year olds & even going as far as dressin like them (peep that song/video he did w/ Dream). NO CHARISMA

Cory Guns: that ? seems more afraid of himself or something.... on his reality show he seems aloof, hes got talent & sure his dad is Peter Gunz but what else is there ? What do you represent - an uptown thoroughbred BX ? ? ya we hear dat but how u gon claim that & then be scared to talk to ur manager so u call ur pops on him in ur TV show ? No diss to fam but he needs to hang out more with Wayne & soak up some of his charisma. Being flashy, throwin money on hoes & rollin with Lil Wayne is NOT charisma ? ....

Big Sean: ? gonna hate me for this but Im just being honest (no 3k). ? is flashy, rhymes about baggin broads, his swag, the club & that's really about it. It's kinda lame after a few listens too & a shame cuz dude is seriously talented. He's like the Fabolous of the 2010s & beyond. He doesn't say anything thought provoking & doesn't give the fans anything to believe in except for how fun the night before was. He's got some serious songs but they aren't thought provoking & they don't motivate us to work harder or strive for more. He's more like the "Right Now" ? rather than later. With all the dope lyricists on GOOD music ud think his subject matter would be wider & his message much more intricate . He's good to listen to for a few records but after that he gets boring & it dont help that he sound like Drake & Fab at times.... if he doesnt improve this he'll end up like Bleek or Wale.

Jadakiss: One of my favorite rappers & in my Top 10 Dead or Alive & that's just off 1 LP but real talk ? felt this but were too scared to say so cuz of the backlash that heads from all over would deliver smh. Kiss is like a cheap porno flick, hot for that moment, memorable enuff to go back to when nothing is happening but after that u forget about him as quickly as u rubbed out n/h. Kiss is mad talented & one of the best to grace the mic but he lacks Charisma. When DBlock was hot it gave ? some sense of purpose but I always felt that Styles was more the ? that had the influence cuz his rhymes were so much more realer that u followed The Ghost just to hear what he would say next (like a charismatic general), Kiss on the other hand when he rhymed it was like watching a movie some of the ? he said was soo graphic or entertaining that u almost felt compelled to get the popcorn ready lolol - it felt comedic like a Quentin Taratino flick but ended w/ a serious touch lol. Kiss of Death was one of his more deeper albums imo but still not enough. Great content but lacked in establishing himself as a ? interesting enough to follow & worship. I've never heard of or seen a ? ride for kiss the way they would for nas, hov, pac, big or eminem for that matter LOL. Maybe one day.

    post is on point. //thread

Nas definitely isn't a rapper with the "LEAST" star power/charisma. Nas's charisma is more understated and relaxed and not as flamboyant as some of the more flashy rappers.

I don't think I am. Most people who aren't that much in to lyrics find him boring, and I have to admit that there are days where his stuff puts me to sleep
