this is so hard, both are just sooooo good. anita baker definetly has the better voice, but i think that sade has the better music. i think she's probably more creative. i'm going to have to go with sade, close one though -
Personally I think Anita is more versatile than Sade is. It's a tough one, but I prefer Anita over Sade.

I love them both. I don't think I can choose because Body and Soul kills it for me and does something to me, but so does Smooth Operator. Both ladies are on my slow jam/ baby making CDs. I may have to give it to Anita because she kills Body and Soul like no other, and we have the same name.

I agree.
But if i was to pick one, I'd say Anita. Her songs, her style of singing and the music and lyrics were all memorable and special. I grew up on both and love both but i love anita's different songs, I remember the feelings Anita's music gave me the most. -

thats a hard comparison because they have 2 totally different styles. sade is when you wanna relax. she is more smooth and just calming man. Anita's music is more powerful. its the kind of music you blast while you are driving or when you are just cleaning your house.
