I' will be modding this forum...
I'm responsible for reading, giving feedback...creating poetry cyphers, contests and so forth...also, if you have any ideas for this forum, please suggest them, for I am open to any ideas..it's all about creativity here..
I apologize for the past weeks I have been absent here, but I will be consistent from here on out.. any questions, concerns, please feel free to contact me, I can try and help or resolve the issue or situation..

Ive got a few poems in the works as we speak, hopefully i can try get them finished soon and posted
How about this idea for a sticky, i heard about this poetry challenge where you write 1 poem a day for a whole month? see if we can get a few people involved in that?? i would definitly be up for it....? would take alot of dedication..... -

I think that sounds like a great idea.. I will work on that very soon.. thank you for the idea.. Being that it's a lot of new poets that have been sharing their literate art with us, I think it will be a great outcome.. and your right, it will take a lot of dedication! -

whats good guy so whats up with ppl viewing posts and not replying what happen to some feed back only if you IC pop on here i thought this was a growth experience on here from writer to writer well it use to be like what happened ???

Welp, a lot of people have come and go, and I' was usually here often, but times have changed, and as of today, start getting use to seeing me around here again lol.
That's one of the things i use to love about WTE, the growth from feedback, because as writers' we can really implement feedback. Thank you for your input btw. -

A Poet’s Quill
My Quill is dying
My Blotter’s wet
My Tears are falling
My words regret
My Heart is hurting
My Feeling jest
My Soul is searching
For Eternal rest.
My Quill has spoken
These immortal words
The strokes
I have written
Will be the last words
My Quill is gone
Though I rest
I still think,
of the Poet’s Quest.

AN HOUR BEFORE
It was an Hour before Christmas
When death came to my door
It was an Hour of life
That I live life long
It was an Hour of reflection
That showed me what I've been
It was an Hour of sorrow
For I've seen all I did
It was an Hour of repentance
For I had an Hour to live
It was an Hour of redemption
For I pray to ? to forgive
It was an Hour of my Life
No longer could I live
It was an Hour when I was Born
That death brought me to Heaven

FOR ALL POETS
THE BIRTH OF A POET
Born from pain and feelings of hurt
of a life that was not worth living
and a love that was not given.
born of suffering of peoples hearts
and agonies of children's tears
of a world that did not seem to care
and hope that was not there.
born from a tear and a heart
as feelings gave birth to tears
and tears awoke the soul to see
the heart it had felt for thee.
born of a time that ? had planned
to let me see the right of way
that I may know not all is bad.
share the love that I may have.
born of a need to know myself
share what I've have come to know
that I may see your heart aglow.
with it all the things you feel
even if its pain and tears.
for this is what a Poet does
awakes your heart and soul to see
you are here indeed.
to feel all the pain and love
is to awaken the heart in you
maybe The Birth of a Poet too.
