Maybe I'm just ? or something but I don't understand this ? . This can't be the first asteroid to come towards the planet, and if it isn't, this can't be the first time they've "planned" to knock it of course. How come lately they gov seems to be so open about their technological abilities? Something smells like ? .

sounds like egg heads trying to keep there job and make more money in the process by creating a scare. From there own calculations I have a better chance of winning the lottery or getting struck by lightning and winning the lottery in the same day... Maybe the Earth is meant to be hit by asteroids.
