It's always been stupid to use what are basically murder weapons in pro wrestling.
I miss the roll of quarters as a foreign object. You punch a dude and let the quarters go flying into the audience.

still, the way they hold it, protecting the head with their hand, if they go too hard, they could still dislocate a dude's jaw or concuss someone if they connect right.
either way, if they swing down like Jason with an axe, or jab forward the way they do, it's still effective.
apparently, no one has experimented with the way they do it in wrestling. That ? hurts because you can feel the head of the hammer even through the hand, coupled the dude's knuckles......it's effective. -
but the way the hammer is traditionally used its a reach for the to even have it as an option.
