Chrono Trigger tied with FF VI or III in the U.S. by a long shot.
-

I had the Bouncer, it literally had 45 minutes of gameplay, it was possibly the biggest let down in the beginning of the ps2's life cycle since it originally showcased a much more ambitious game engine that included big brawls and environmental interaction.
I'm gonna throw chrono trigger out there, not sure I have a favorite square game though really. They haven't made a good final fantasy since 9. -

T/S, I knew Xenogear was gonna be on your list from your s/n haha.
For me (in no order):
FF6, FF7, FF Tactics, Xenogears and Vagrant Story. -
Final Fantasy 7
Ah the memories. -

You serious?
What was Final Fantasy 10 and 12(can understand flak for this one due to the new fighting system but it was still a good game) -

Shock post.
Final Fantasy VIII. The only Final Fantasy game I've ever bothered getting into. -

I think 10 was mediocre, maybe ok even. 12 had ? characters, and the story wasn't a compelling one, but the combat was different and cool. The best thing about ff12 was balthier and fran honestly, all the other characters can eat a ? . Opted not to even bother with 13 as it looked like ? from the first trailer. I guess 10 and 12 aren't bad games, but they aren't final fantasy caliber, but 9>>>>>>both those games at the very least. -

C/S, first RPG I ever played. Straight up classic. This is the game that led me to discover all the other RPGs in the SNES era that I slept-on as a kid. I remember the turn based combat felt so alien back then. -
Final Fantasy Tactics. Still play till this day. Its plays diffrent every time thru.
