Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Rumors about a Mini Ninjas sequel circulated a couple months back, but now we have unofficial confirmation that's as official as it gets. The Mini Ninjas: Adventures page on Xbox.com's Marketplace gives us a full breakdown of the Arcade Kinect title, including a June 27 release date and a pile of screenshots.

The XBLA sequel does not, however, come from Mini Ninjas developer IO Interactive, which is currently working on Hitman: Absolution. Side Kick, a motion-centric game studio, has taken lead on this Square-Enix-published sequel.

Try not to punch your TV.

With his teammates missing and in need of rescuing, it's safe to assume that little Hiro's 21-level adventure will indeed be his own, leaving little room for multiplayer. The release date on the Xbox.com page could potentially kick off the Summer of Arcade promotion. Given that its Kinect functionality hints at an Xbox 360 exclusive release, look to Microsoft's E3 press conference at 9am PST on June 4 for more info.
