According to TMZ, Lil Wayne and Drake are being sued for $432,337.50 by Imperial Entertainment Group for not turning up to a club appearance back in 2011. Weezy and Drizzy are both refusing to pay the money, which the judge ordered them to do so, because they say they were never told about the event and never signed any official contracts about it.

They also say that Imperial Entertainment Group used a third party, Melanzh Enterprises, to book them but that party had no authority to do so. The two rappers are currently asking the court to dismiss the judgement. You can read more info about the lawsuit after the jump below.

Also after the jump, I have added another photo of Tune watching the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat game court-side at the American Airlines Arena in Florida from last night (May 28th).

The rappers have joined together to fight a default judgment entered against them. The judge ordered the duo to pay $432,337.50 to Imperial Entertainment Group. The company sued, alleging Lil Wayne and Drake promised to perform at a 2011 event but were no shows.

The rappers now claim in legal docs … they were never told about the appearance, never signed ANY contracts and were never even served with papers to show up in court.

Drake and Lil Wayne allege that IEG used a third party to book them — Melanzh Enterprises — which they claim had no authority to book them.

The two want the court to cancel the $400k plus judgement.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Wayne continues to expand his Trukfit clothing brand with a new distribution deal via Macy’s department stores.

Lil Wayne’s new Trukfit clothing line will land in select Macy’s across the country, in addition to Macy’s.com.

T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats will be available from the brand starting on June 1.

“Trukfit is a state of mind,” said Mike Morris, Trukfit brand director. “It is about being oneself, having fun, being free and being able to express all these elements. We are thrilled to be able to offer Trukfit at Macy’s, an iconic retailer with as much as energy and heart as our brand. Lil Wayne is a favorite rapper and Macy’s is a favorite shopping destination – a perfect fit!”

Trukfit, which is an acronym for “The Reason You ? For It,” is a streetwear brand, that draws influence from music, art, and action sports.

To celebrate the launch of Trukfit at Macy’s, Lil Wayne will make a special appearance at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on June 1.

He will be accompanied by close friend and professional skateboarder, Stevie Williams, who is the founder of the company, DGK.

The first 10 fans to purchase $150.00 in merchandise from Trukfit, DGK, or both, will be invited to a special meet and greet with Lil Wayne and Williams.

Where's the paperwork for that supposed booking contract?

And they better be careful not to over play the Trukfit brand. Trukfit brand is being positioned in such a mainstream space on the grid with all these corporate chain stores. It's easily available all over the map. But the real skaters mainly occupy the underground scene. Once a brand hit Macy's you can forget about support from that community.

Wayne & Drake didnt perform at that concert in the bay area neither. Waka perfomed. Wayne never got off the bus. Drake stepped off to get some fresh air. Vernon Davis owns the club they was supposed to perform at. So the money was there for them to do the show. So theyll prolly catch another lawsuit in a few months.

That ? really didnt fly with alotta cats in the bay anyway. From my perspective, only thing Bay Area about that song from the outside looking in is the "RIP Mac Dre Ima do it for The Bay". That beat is a hyphy type beat. He got the "You already know though" from a artist named D-Lo. Chris Brown quoted him too on E-40's "Function (remix), Breezy actually shouted him out for it though. The video was even worst. He had Mac Dre's Mom on there without actually letting the world know who she was. Tyga in San Francisco in a Dodgers jersey was a light weight slap in the face. Wayne was ghostriding a lowrider in Uggs. Ghostriding been played out in The Bay Area. And Lowriders is more of a L.A. thing. He took YOKO & turned it into YOLO. YOKO came from Berner. A San Francisco artist who has a track with Wiz Khalifa, Big Krit, & Chris Brown. The songs called YOKO. This isnt the first time Cash Money came and got some inspiration from the Bay Area. The Big Tymers got the concept for the "Get Ya Roll On" video after a Cash Money concert at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. They seen a side show going on as they tour bus was leaving the arena parking lot. Next thing you know, they in Corvettes and ? doing donuts. They cheated in that video by the way. Them ? had to get the ground wet jus to do donuts. lol.

Just a lil brief history lesson folks. Class dismissed.
