Patriots owner Bob Kraft is pushing for it. Does it have potential to work? In my opinion, a Los Angeles team needs to come first.

My city will get an NFL team before London.
-
hate that idea...? lame to isolate a team like that and have them traveling crazy long
hours all season...
plus another team will ruin the perfect semetry the league has with 32 teams- 8 divisions with 4 teams a piece is beautiful
-
If anything, create a separate division in europe and have the winnera meet in the Super Bowl
-
There are plenty of cities here in the states that could use a team before a team in London. Los Angeles being the obvious one, other cities like Orlando, and Toronto, and Portland could use one as well.
-
Bad idea, it isn't practical
-
No one wants to travel to London for games, and nobody's gonna want to be in that division. And when the playoffs come around who wants to travel for an away game in London? Horrible idea

Stay out of Canada and Europe. ? never works, not even in other American sports. And bring back the World League. Closest the NFL has ever come to a decent farm system.

How doesn't it work? The Blue Jays won back to back in 92 & 93. I know you and Primetime remember 92.

An NFL team in Canada would probably be huge bruh. Every other sport has a franchise in Canada that is somewhat succesful(well besides the Raptors). -

Having a single NFL match in the UK each year is a curiosity for most people at best. Seriously, no one in the UK gives a ? about the NFL, American Football or any other American sport. We already have Rugby Union and Rugby League. If this was the NBA then there would be potential, otherwise the novelty will wear off after the second home match and they'll wish they never bothered by the third.

But they still generate a lot of revenue..

Well buffalo should be moving to Toronto by 2016. & London can't be the only place in europe for the nfl. I like dudes idea in revamping the world league but use international born players!!!
-
we all know this is ? . he was speaking to a crowd in england just trying give them something to think about.
-
Didn't they have a NFL Europe and that ? failed.....why try again. Especially in England....they love soccer too much in Europe, UK, and every other foreign country for it to succeed at all...
Only country where NFL could maybe be semi successful is Mexico and they damn sure aint doin that... -
I can see an nba team orking in london. .but not nfl

The only country that seem to be interested in NFL Europe was Germany....the teams located there had support all the other teams folded due to lack of support. Lets not forget Euorpeans are ignorant and closeminded to fully understand the game of the NFL.
-
Yeah because the NFL Europe turned out great...
Would the London team uniforms have a whole bunch of sponsor patches all over it?
The London Royals sponsored by Barclays, Roll Royce and Fish and Chips -
Japan could work, they took to football pretty good. They even have semi pro leagues now along with it now being able to be a club sport for highschools, like soccor and baseball
-
But no to isolating a team north america only
-
The NFL is an American sport and should stay that way. Goodell should learn that and quit wasting time on this NFL in London ? . They dont give a ? about our sports and we dont give a ? about their sports.
-
The NFL sees that American Football is almost at its peak. College has a better model than the NFL.
I can dig Greenwood's take. Also the Canadian League and Arena football can be other revenue streams. Problem with American Football farm teams. The prospects get beat up just like the pros.
