also everyone can not be a entertainer at the same time, because everyone life isnt designed the same. Some people do not walk the same trails. some people were offered better entertainment opportunities than others, and instead of them just chilling being grateful, they constantly talking about people who didnt get entertainment contracts. How about calling yourself lucky, instead of comparing yourself? they need to pat themselves on the back.

a deseperate entertainer down to sign any type of contract just for fame, always get played in the game. I rather work..and at this point I learned how to work for myself.

It's part of the perk of having an entertainment career. It's called a swag job.

    We are cooler!

in hs my career choice wasnt a porno star rapper, and thats the only entertainment opportunity I was offered. Whoever from hs who do not like my life choices, can kiss my ass. I'm doing better than most. People compare me with ppl i didnt grow up with or go to hs with. They compare me to people raised in different cities with other opportunities. They are not comparing me to the baltimorians I grew up with.

people can throw me in the category of "just working" dont phaze me one bit. I'm "just working" on a better life. I've always been striving to be a positive person, I'm not down for negative fame. When a bunch of negativity arrives it arrives for a reason, I tried entertainment it was too much negativity I let it go. I always had other career options. I write songs, and music all my life, my talent put me in the lane with entertainers, when I had a regular life, I wasnt really trying to be a celeb.

I was never stupid I always had a job sometimes 2 jobs and side a hustle. I know how to make it.

    I gotta co-sign this

in hs I use to run track, and I never ran from a bully. I wasn't a bully cause peoples thought I looked mean. I'm a nice guy. I only finished last when it came to the 100m sprint, them kids were pretty fast, no snitch but I suggested to coach some of them submit ? samples, they had to be on something, ? . But it's all good, I was content I wasn't the best but I did my best, hoes loved me, they just never admitted it. Awkward 4 eyed swag, now today everybody wants to be a nerd, ? that, I'm on some grown man ? today,

Trendy fads, smh people ? me , murder was the case, I'm living Happily Ever-After like a song by Case

Im doin better than everybody, imo.

Some people went to super prestigious universities, and theyre professional nerds now, random engineering jobs in other countries, financial advisors, IT jobs, etc

Some people went to the military and the wars.

Some people stayed in the streets, bullshittin, getting locked up and killed, trying be the ultimate gangsta in the streets and doin dumb ?

some people just living life....raising their kids, workin regular jobs, or partying and event promotions because they chose a wack ass major that wont separate them from the crowd or they didnt finish post secondary school.

Im doin me...im done with my undergrad education, im stackin bread, I got well known connections and im doin good while doin things my own way, so everything is all good on this side.

I mean I had a classmate that's going to Yale and one that's going to West Point.. but in terms of people in general. Most people already put themselves in a position where they can't progress in life.

'Winning' is all I have to say about my situation to a lot of my fellow classmates. Out of my circle of friends with the exception if 1 I make more than all of them(although fortunately none of us are struggling). Also I'm one of the only two to not have kids out of all of us(even though everyone predicted my mannish ass to have em first).

The rest of those ? I went to high school with I kind of laugh at them. I told them not to take out those expensive school loans for college, they told me I was stupid. Now their credit is ? for life, while I'm about to buy myself a bomb ass spot out in Frisco in about six months with no co-signer.

How tho? Keep it 100. U working or how do you get that income? If its a "hustle", in the slang sense and i dont mean drugs lol, then just say hustle. Just curious.

Im doing alright i guess. I think most of the ppl i grew up with are somewhat in the same seat as me tho, but only a few. The rest are pretty much doing the street ? or work thru the black market.

I go to school but on the real school makes me ? depressed yo. Like i somewhat like learning and all that but honestly my heart havent been in school for the last few years. However like some say maybe having a college degree can be better than not having one in the future. Me and most of the current people i go to school with now feel the same way.

Everybody are in a space where they wanna work and make money and are just tired of school. Especially considering how most people end up not having or doing ? after school so sometimes its like "whats the point?", especially being minorities and whatnot.

I honestly haven't hit a lick, sold a substance, or touched a gun that wasn't legally mine since I was 18 1/2. I wasn't an angel, but I realized that life was only going to lead me to the devil's door.

I drive trucks now, bought my own back in July and now I'm seeing more dead presidents than I ever did living rogueish. People need to realize that you can make it without being an athlete, rapper/singer, or a d-boy.

It's so many options out here nobody wants to open their eyes and LOOK. Nothing good in life has ever been easy to obtain; people don't know about hard work and sacrifice anymore. You can make it to the 40 acres and a mule if you try.

My promoters aren't promoters due to graduating with a "wack ass" major.

    At least not in Atlanta.

True. You gotta realize tho alot of that comes from a sense of hopelessness mixed with low self esteem, especially for the minority (dont know ur race). Everybody can front in here but we all have been or go thru em only luckily a few get oppurtunities that makes them rise above that while others dont.

And i would disagee that there are opinions out there like that. If that was the case black folks for instance would teach each other the game, however we know thats not what some of us do. Most of the time cuz of the competition ppl feel gonna ruin them or ? with their ? , so we already know that there is a large chance that most of us aint gonna make it.

Im in the mix bag right now. Im a pretty smart dude in school only problem is i dont apply myself when it comes to studying for tests and all that again cuz i lost motivation for school. However i feel like i gotta do this ? even tho i really wanna be out there making money and living my life or w/e. Thats hard too tho, especially since some jobs crave that college ed to apply. But school can also be a good back drop in the future. But on the flip also be waste of a time being a minority and not being that stiff dude who gotta kiss ass so they prolly wouldnt hire me anyway.

As you can tell my mind is all ? up and i know you dont care lol. Just wanted to air ? out yaknow.

After my last job I told myself from now on my only boss will be me and been doing it ever since. My ethnicity is half black/half white by the way, as much as I don't want to claim the white side most of the time.

There are options out there, sometimes the game can't be taught you have to learn how to make it real talk.
