Tommy bilfiger wrote: »the Phoenix Suns try to reshuffle their roster for the future, their front office remains motivated to try to acquire New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Iman Shumpert is averaging 5.6 points for the Knicks this season.
The Suns are willing to give New York a package that includes forward Jared Dudley and possibly a future first-round pick for Shumpert, but the Knicks have so far shown no inclination to do such a deal, sources said.
After tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament in the Knicks' opening game of last season's playoffs, Shumpert returned in January and has started the past 11 games. While Shumpert is still working himself back to the high level with which he performed as a rookie, the Knicks' front office remains a strong proponent of his talent, sources said.
After regretting they passed on Shumpert in the 2011 NBA draft, the Suns pushed the Knicks to include him in sign-and-trade scenarios discussed for Steve Nash in July. In the past week, the Suns have scouted Shumpert in person, sources said.
Dudley has three years and $12.8 million left on his contract, and has been available in trade talks, league sources said. He's averaging 11.8 points and 3.6 rebounds this season. Phoenix has also tried to move backup point guard Sebastian Telfair for a second-round pick, sources said.
Suns tryna get shumpert

AlexKennedyNBA Source says the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls are among the teams pursuing Orlando Magic guard J.J. Redick.
I hope the bulls don't let the pacers get this dude
Dudley and a first for Shumpert? Am I crazy for thinking thats a steal for the Knicks? -
I can't wait to see what type of trades happen, there is always a big name trade right before the trade deadline.
Who Do U Think is Actually Going To Get Traded? -
Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard
Nets going hard after Josh Smith, sources say. While they've discussed a trade for Ben Gordon, getting Josh is a bigger priority. -

Kris Humphries and Marshon Brooks may be enough, but then they got to overpay his ass in the offseason -
Zack Randolph would be a nice piece for the Nets. If he ends up playing for Hov the heat could have some problems

why bring up a random player? -
The Nets are willing to give up Humphries and second-year shooting guard MarShon Brooks for Smith. But it almost certainly will take more than a Humphries-Brooks combination to pry Smith away from Atlanta, and one source said the Hawks want Brooklyn's first-round pick.
Some scenarios that have been discussed include the Hawks' Anthony Morrow, who played the past two seasons with the Nets, returning to the club.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Saturday that the Hawks want a young center in return for Smith.
The Nets may have to get a third team involved to pull off a trade for Smith.
I can ? with it -
I don't think Josh Smith in Brooklyn will work.
Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson and Josh Smith pretty much play the same way and they suck on Defense, Humphries be in the paint rebounding and playing Defense. -
Josh Smith does not suck on Defense
-
JJ stock has never been this high we need to move him asap. I wouldn't be mad at Derrick Williams and a 1st
-
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
Mavs, I'm told, do have interest in Brandon Jennings and will be in mix for him if Bucks opt to make RFA-to-be available b4 Feb. 21 deadline

Your reaching there....Bledsoe hasn't even proved he can be a starting PG.. a solid back up one of the best in fact but in terms of starting and going head to head with PGs in the West don't think he is ready yet. When CP3 was out he was having a hard time controlling tempo and getting others involved.

Like most Bulls trades Booz for Bargs is about cap to reup Deng. And the owner ain't gonna pay ? just to leave when they can get rid of costs and act like its a basketball move. Really rather not include Nate for JL3.

Would a Rondo/Westbrook back court work?

There's only one ball to dribble the air out of. Wouldn't work.

Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard
Sources say Boston willing to trade injured PG Rajon Rondo in right deal. Wizards looking to move Jordan Crawford.
