En Vogue & SWV made chart topoing hits early in the decade, while TLC dominated the middle to late 90s with Destiney Child right on thier hills. Xscape, Total, & Brownstone all made classic tunes around that time. Out of all these talented groups, who do u think made the best overall MUSIC ?? not taling career sales or popularity, but who had the best songs and vocal performances ?

TLCthats tough..i think TLC gets the nod because they really didnt go anywhere or take too much time off..even when they didnt have an album out you still saw them unlike SWV and En Vogue..
-
SWVI'm partial to SWV, but TLC probably has this if we're talking popularity.
I love all those groups..the ladies had a strong presence in the 90s. -
TLC? everybody else
-
En VogueLOL!!! Oakland's finest En vogue ? all over everybody on there. I guess you ? done forgot so let me remind you.^MY FAVORITE^T.L.C and S.W.V are tied at two.
-
TLCTLC with SWV right behind them
-
SWVEh...I like En Vogue but they're not beating out SWV imo.
Free Your Mind is one of the top anthems of the decade though. -

Terry is from Houston... -
SWVI can't see what TLC song you posted @7_rolls_royce
SWV has plenty of classic songs, just because they wouldn't be classified as an anthem doesn't take away from their greatness.
Weak and Right Here (Human Nature remix of course) are enough to put them on top for me. -
En VogueHow is this even debatable?
-
SWVTLC made the best music though? ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...nosign.
-
SWVenvouge was sexy as hell.....i gotta give them all their props..
but swv was my shizznit -
En VogueEn Vogue
-
SWVSWV so many classic songs
-
En VogueSMH @ these whippersnappers
SWV made too many ? anthems
TLC made too many pop/rap songs that kind of took them out of the R&B category a lot of times
En Vogue set the standard for female groups in the 90s -
TotalI ? with Total, Bad Boy ha the R&B game on smash!
-
En VogueIf we talking hits I'd have to go with TLC, but vocally even before seeing the pole I was thinking about En Vogue. It all depends on which criteria you go with. Brownstone gets a honorable mention BTW...
-
SWVBrownstone has done some of the best harmonizing I've ever heard.
-
En VogueEn Vogue duh, most people cannot apperciate perfection.
-
SWVThe bf voted En Vogue as well.
I'm still riding for SWV. -

TLCTLC was better as a group when it came to making songs and albums
but no one was seeing En Vogue vocally... -
