These celeb athletes will never learn…you just can’t trust a damn groupie lol! New York Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers is the victim of an apparent burglary while he was staying at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach.
Rogers, 34, told police he left his room around 1 a.m. with some friends and headed to Club Liv. While at the club, Rogers and his group allegedly met a woman (NOT seen above) who the group would bring back to Rogers’ room, according to Miami Beach Police.
Rogers said he put his valuables in the room safe when he returned around 7 a.m. and the party continued until the nose tackle fell asleep. According to police, Rogers said at 12:30 p.m., he awoke and found the woman the group had met the night before was no longer there.
Once he realized the woman wasn’t there, Rogers told police he tried unsuccessfully to get into the room’s safe. Hotel security then came to the room and was able to pry open the safe and found Rogers’ valuables were missing.
Among the items Rogers said were stolen were: diamond earrings worth $100,000; two wristwatches worth a combined $160,000; a gold necklace with gold pendant worth $50,000; gold bracelets worth $60,000; and a diamond Cuban necklace with a gold pendant worth $70,000.
Rogers did not play in 2012 after signing with the Giants and spent the season on injured reserve.

i believe the hotel employees be stealing ? too.they set up these celebs to get robbed.i posted a thread about some hotel employees who steal from celeb hotel rooms.I believe the groupie pretended to like him and when his ass fell asleep she probably called up one of hotel folks and they took that ? for her or he had the key and she opened that ? up and took it out and dipped while he slept. -

the bigger issue is why you got 500K worth of jewlery and you ain't even a paid superstar like that. Someone needs to show this ? broke. Clearly that 500k should have been invested in some stocks and bonds if he lets hoes hustle him out of money like this.

Diamonds do depreciate is value, just like gold. A lot of the times these celebrity ? get ripped off too (see Jacob the Jeweler). -
