Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said the era of negotiation of Tehran’s nuclear program has ended and that those who wanted to deal with America — which he said must be destroyed — are guilty of treason.
“Those [Iranians] who want to promote negotiations and surrender to the oppressors and blame the Islamic Republic as a warmonger in reality commit treason,” he said Sunday during a public address to members of parliament, Fars News Agency reported.
Mr. Khamenei also said a combative-type mindset was necessary for Iran to achieve its higher goals and win over the “oppressors’ front,” The Daily Caller reported.
“The reason for continuation of this battle is not the warmongering of the Islamic Republic,” he said. “Logic and reason command that Iran, in order to pass through a region full of pirates, needs to arm itself and must have the capability to defend itself. Today’s world is full of thieves and plunderers of human honor … [who] commit crimes and betray human ideals and start wars in different parts of the world.”
One lawmaker asked how long the battle would wage, The Daily Caller reported.
His reply: “Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist. … This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought. … This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.”

Isn't the old city of Babylon in modern day Syria or Iraq? I doubt the Bible specifically mentions America....America is definitely not what it once was, but that's mostly because of endless wars and wasteful spending that's bankrupted America's future

America has nothing to do with babylon ancient, mystery or great, ancient babylon is in iraq
The bible is a middle eastern centered book and it is only the hubris of people in the west that allows them to think that they can understand it through a western lens. If you read both the bible and the koran you will find that the anti-christ, the false prophet, the beast nations, mystery babylon all relate to the middle east not america. -

This I mostly agree with. They sense weakness in American influence around the world, and they're openly defying American politicians. They even embarrassed Obama by publicly admitting that the Iran nuclear negotiations are a waste of time and they openly called for America to be hurt lol....very telling

You think it's going to take 20 years? They have a housing bubble magnitudes larger than the one we had, I think one good nationalist insurrection will tip their fragile economy. -

You're right in many aspects but what DoU meant was that all those countries are plotting to take down America in small, little ways. Maybe big ways down the line with the security alliances they now have with each other. Russia and China are openly defying America along with Iran, making foreign policy decisions difficult for America. North Korea is weak true, but they still have a very powerful military, one million strong. America wouldn't dare try to fight NK now, and it obviously wouldn't dare take on Russia and China either despite it's policies ? off some of its neighbors. These aren't small headaches for America.
Remember how badly Obama wants to avoid war in Iran, and how Iran lately is daring America to do something about its nuclear program. -

No nation can win an all out war against America, true, but several nations ganging up on America, even with allies, can do serious damage. Very few really believe Iran can do anything serious to America but with a security alliance with Russia and China, Iran suddenly becomes a dog that you don't wana ? with. The Taliban, Al Qaeda, and even Iraqis proved that even small organizations can do serious harm to American soldiers and American money, so if Iran agrees to sign that new security alliance with Russia AND China, that's a game changer. That would mean China and Russia would protect Iran in case an attack occurs, and who really wants to fight Russia and China at once? -

If russia and china fought america the usa would still win. Why??? For the reasons america would have won during the cold war invasion is impossible we have two oceans protecting us and even if you have intercontinental rockets america has more.
This nation is armed to the teenth the population itself is armed and one powerful Strike won't do it because america itself is too large and we have nuclear armed subs all over the planet and bases all over the planet.

If america was destroyed in one day by nuclear weapons it would be the end of mankind because the nuclear fallout would spread around the earth and ? everything. And that's not counting the damage that our nuclear subs would do in revenge.

These guys @judahblack and dou believe america is mystery babylon from the bible I have been trying to explain to them why that makes no sense bibically and in objective reality but so far I have had no luck. -

Yeah if America really was "Babylon", I'm sure the Bible or any other ancient religious book for that matter would have more detailed prophecies. Babylon in fact was just a city under the Akkadid Empire, and America isn't a city lol....

That is the result. Life will still continue. And like the Bible teaches, the end times will be focused in the Middle East. The new world is separated by the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Vast bodies of water on both sides of America separate it from where all the action will be taking place.
That is why when you read in Revelation 18, you see that the reaction of the destruction of Babylon the Great comes from the ships in the sea! You have to put 2 and 2 together! Ships in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf of Mexico will see the destruction of America from afar off and weep, wail, and howl because of what is taking place!
"for in one hour such great wealth has been laid waste!' And every shipmaster and every passenger and sailor, and as many as make their living by the sea, stood at a distance, and were crying out as they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, 'What city is like the great city?' "And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, 'Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea became rich by her wealth, for in one hour she has been laid waste!'" Revelation 18:17-19

What you are trying to get the bible to say does not match reality. And makes no sense because for america which is a huge nation to be utterly destroyed it would take hundreads of nukes all our cities and bases would have to be destroyed. The use of that much atomic bombs would destroy the worldwide ecosystem. And cause nuclear winter.
Babylon is mecca , practice wisdom study more than the bible and you will quickly see why america cannot be babylon. Also if you believe the bible is middle eastern centered you cannot be talking about the atlantic and pacific ocean, that makes no sense.
