Have any of you guys been to a concert or Hip-Hop Convention/Expo? What was the experience like? Only concert I been to was a rock one and it sucked. This was when I was a kid. Now, I love Hip-Hop more than ever. I heard a few rappers sucked live. Well tell us your experience and if you would ever go back to that person's concert again.

Ive only been to dope hip hop concerts.
First was Murs and Aesop Rock. Murs played everything he did with 9th wonder. it was GOAT.
2nd concert was Sage Francis. Probably my least favorite concert because he was my least favorite artist ive seen
Saw Brother Ali, Abstract Rude, and Atmosphere in concert. That was GOAT.
De La soul is awesome live. Really work with the crowd and had the 2nd longest set ive ever seen behind atmosphere. -

My first concert was a Nas show. It was during his ? 's Son tour, when the Jay vs Nas beef was at an alltime high. He performed all the songs in the same order as he did in the dvd version.
His performance of "one mic" was crazy, at the end of the song he was laid out on the floor lol

I'm sure I'm American because I never left this country. Yeah, never even been out the country before. So, yeah I'm American. I was always out playin Basketball and ? . Never had the time or interest to go to Rap concerts back then, but I always copped albums back in da day. -

3. Nas
4. Mobb Deep
5. Reakwon
6. EPMD
7. DJ Premier
Etc, etc living in a major city this is always a stop. A lot of the concerts are MC 's preforming classic material so its always hype but with out a doubt worst concert I've been to was Lauryn Hill.

i guess the closest thing to one were the ones where my and my boys opened up for artists in clubs, and when dj unk, baby d, and rick ross came to a homecoming at my community college, that was pretty dope, not too many concerts in the town im in tho, prolly coulda went to more when i was at ole miss, soulja boy did a show there once that was str8 too, yes i really just said that.

If you live near a large city and are a hip hop fan there is no reason to not go to a concert

Went to this lil festival last year in downtown Louisville. Saw Big Boi perform. Dude had a cast on his leg so he performed all his ? sitting on a throne

Forgot to mention I saw Grandmaster Flash spin at Harvard University as part of a Hip Hop conference they were having. It was right around the time In Da Club was hot and he did some tricks on the turntables. He had the dancefloor packed!!!
