The Texas Department of State Health Services says that a second health care worker at a Dallas hospital who provided care for the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S. has tested positive for the disease.
The department says in the statement emailed early Wednesday and posted on its website that the worker reported a fever Tuesday and was immediate isolated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. It says a preliminary Ebola test was conducted late Tuesday at a state public health lab in Austin, Texas, and confirmatory testing will be conducted at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
The statement says the health care worker, who wasn't identified, was interviewed to identify any contacts or potential exposures.
Department spokeswoman Carrie Williams confirmed the release with The Associated Press.

Nurses at a Texas hospital where a Liberian man died of Ebola described a confused and chaotic response to his arrival in the emergency room, alleging in a statement Tuesday that he languished for hours in a room with other patients and that hospital authorities resisted isolating him.
In addition, they said, the nurses tending him had flimsy protective gear and no proper training from hospital administrators in handling such a patient.
The allegations, made under unusual circumstances, provided the first detailed portrait of Thomas Eric Duncan's second trip to the emergency room, where he arrived by ambulance days after doctors had sent him home with a fever, a headache, abdominal pain and a prescription for antibiotics.

A unrelated Ebola Outbreak is happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Look at the map, it's far from Liberia.
http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/outbreaks/drc/2014-august.htmlAs of October 5, 2014, there have been 70 cases of Ebola virus disease reported in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In total, 43 deaths have been reported. This outbreak is unrelated to the current outbreak of Ebola in West Africa. -

The potential hundreds, thousands and millions that could have Ebola because of this hospital is ? up.
• Duncan came in and tested positive for Ebola.
• Was throwing up and had diarhhea
• was left exposed to other patients for hours, no telling how many
• was taken to a quarantine room
• nurses didn't have the proper protection
• hospital staff were in and out of that room without proper protection, or care to themselves
• nothing was cleaned up during or after his stay
• nurses tended to other patients after dealing w Mr. Duncan
• no mandatory meetings or training was called for
• nurses were emailed on what to do, that changed often but they were told to 'do what you want' w the information
I don't understand how you can be so careless about an Ebola case. So, now, because of all the contact to other patients, who go about their lives after they leave the hospital, it's very possible hundreds will have it, which quickly turns to thousands, then millions..
And holiday travel is around the corner -
And they're saying the waste wasn't properly disposed of.. Labs, gloves, masks etc..

It doesn't need to be airborne to be highly contagious. It can live on surfaces independent. It's easy enough to transfer just from touching everyday objects. -

The Bubonic Plague is much more deadly than Ebola, and maybe 10 people in the United States contact it annually.
If we can control the black plague, we can control Ebola. The countries were Ebola was wide spread had poor medical systems.
There will be no outbreak here, this ain't the first time Ebola has been in America.
If the virus mutates, it won't become airborne, it'll most likely become less dangerous -

No it's not. Blood, ? , and very rarely saliva, but that's in later stages.
